A blind funambulist

A bucket list

A Thin thread

And, at the very end

The Kiss of Death.

And yet, and yet…

We all try to win that stupid bet,

If you fall; A safety net?

You’ll just drown, see?

Down under the cold, dark sea

One last look above

Not a Sea of Love.
